
Babban Mataimakin Shugaban Ɓangaren bincike da sarrafawa na NNPC Ltd, Udy Ntia (na biyu daga dama) da Shugaban na Ƙasa kuma Babban Darakta na TotalEnergies, Matthieu Bouyer (na farko daga hagu), yayin da suke rattaba hannu kan wata yarjejeniyar fahimtar juna don tsawaita amfani da fasahar Airborne Ultralight Spectrometer for Environmental Applications (AUSEA) na tsawon wasu watanni 24 domin ganowa, aunawa, da rage fitar da iskar methane da carbon a ayyukan ɓangaren bincike da sarrafawa. An rattaba hannu kan yarjejeniyar ne a Hasumiyar NNPC da ke Abuja, a ranar Laraba.
Kamfanin matatarq Mai na Ƙasar Najeriya, NNPC Ltd, ya sabunta yarjejeniyarsa da kamfanin TotalEnergies domin ƙara tsawaita amfani da fasahar Airborne Ultralight Spectrometer for Environmental Applications, AUSEA, na tsawon wasu watanni 24 domin ganowa, aunawa, da rage fitar da iskar methane da carbon a dukkan ayyukansa na ɓangaren sama.
Yarjejeniyar, wacce aka rattaba hannu a ranar Laraba a Hasumiyar NNPC da ke Abuja, na da nufin taimakawa NNPC Ltd wajen cika alƙawurran da ta ɗauka na rage fitar da iskar gas da ake konawa, daidai da ƙa’idojin Yarjejeniyar Rage Fitar da Hayaki na Ma’aikatar Mai da Gas, shigarta cikin Oil & Gas Methane Partnership 2.0, da kuma burinta na kusan kawo ƙarshen fitar da methane baki ɗaya nan da shekarar 2030.
Wannan ya biyo bayan yarjejeniyar farko da aka kulla a shekarar 2023 don amincewa da fasahar AUSEA. Hakan na ƙunshe ne a cikin wata sanarwar manema labarai da Babban Jami’in Sadarwa na Kamfanin NNPCL, Andy Odeh, ya sanya wa hannu kuma aka rabawa ‘yan jarida a ranar Laraba.
A cewar sanarwar, Babban Mataimakin Shugaban Ɓangaren Sama na NNPC Ltd, Udy Ntia, da Shugaba kuma Manajan Darakta na TotalEnergies, Matthieu Bouyer, ne suka rattaba hannu a madadin kamfanoninsu.
Da yake jawabi yayin rattaba hannun, Ntia ya nuna gamsuwa da matakin farko na amfani da fasahar, kuma ya yi kira da a faɗaɗa amfani da ita a sauran kadarorin NNPC.
“Rattaba hannu a yau mataki ne na zahiri a tafiyar NNPC Limited na gina shirin rage fitar da hayaki mai gaskiya, bayyane, kuma mai ɗaukar mataki. Ta hanyar shirin AUSEA, muna ƙarfafa ƙarfinmu na ganowa, ƙididdigewa da fifita damammakin rage fitar da methane ta hanyar amfani da fasahar auna zamani,” in ji Ntia.
Ya kuma yi kira da a kafa tsarin bayar da rahoton ci gaba daidai da ƙa’idojin bin doka, sannan ya nuna sha’awar binciken yiwuwar mika fasahar AUSEA zuwa ga NNPC.
A nasa ɓangaren, Babban Mataimakin Shugaban TotalEnergies na nahiyar Afirka, Mike Sangster, ya yaba da haɗin kan da kamfaninsa ya samu daga NNPC a shekarun baya
Ya bayyana cewa TotalEnergies ne kamfanin mai na farko a Najeriya da ya kawo ƙarshen kona iskar gas a dukkan kadarorinsa, yana mai cewa fasahar AUSEA ce ta taimaka matuƙa wajen cimma wannan nasarar. Ya sake jaddada aniyar kamfanin na cimma kusan sifili na fitar da methane nan da 2030.
AUSEA fasaha ce da ke amfani da jirgi mara matuƙi, wacce TotalEnergies ta haɓaka tare da haɗin gwiwar Cibiyar Bincike ta Kimiyya ta Ƙasar Faransa, CNRS, da Jami’ar Reims.
Tana taimakawa wajen gano maɓuɓɓugar hayakin da ba a lissafa ba, samar da hujjar tambayar da inganta hanyoyin bayar da rahoton hayaki na yanzu, samar da bayanai don duba tsarin aiki da ɗaukar matakan gyara, da kuma ƙididdige ƙarfin kona iskar gas da ake yi a mashigar wuta.
